Any ideas why this is happening.
Directv H24
Directv 5 LNB Legacy
Directv B Band Coverter
Sounds more like to me the OP is saying the first couple of hours in the guide have data but anything after the "few hours" that are listed say "To Be Announced". That's normal after you reboot an H24.dpeters11 said:Yeah, but it sounds like the guide info was there after the reboot, then gone a few hours later. That's not a normal flush.
Not getting signals from 119, means not guide data when you're tuned to channels from the 103 SAT.skaman74 said:I'm missing the 119 satellite could that be a problem. My HR24 is all fine with the guide and its missing the 119. Also the channel logos are not showing up.
Since its only happening on one unit there...recommend perhaps either a powerdown and plugging back in on that one unit might clear it...or else re-do on the Dish setup.veryoldschool said:Not getting signals from 119, means not guide data when you're tuned to channels from the 103 SAT.
It's worth a shot, but it may simply come from the other receiver being on the 99 SAT.hdtvfan0001 said:Since its only happening on one unit there...recommend perhaps either a powerdown and plugging back in on that one unit might clear it...or else re-do on the Dish setup.
Figured it would be worth a try.

How would converting to swim 5 fix it?"Go Beavs" said:You'll continue to have guide data problems until you either fix your 119 reception issue, switch to a SL3, or convert to SWiM.
Good to know. Thanks"Go Beavs" said:Yes, since the SWiM always uses guide data from the 101 SAT.
But why don't my HR24 have the guide problem? And D12"Go Beavs" said:Yes, since the SWiM always uses guide data from the 101 SAT.
The D12 is probably always looking at the 101 SAT and gets guide data from that. The HR24 has probably been sitting in a channel from the 99 SAT. It will eventually have problems when it is tuned to a channel from the 103 SAT.skaman74 said:But why don't my HR24 have the guide problem? And D12
Its a LOS issue as the dish is on my shed between 2 houses"studechip" said:Do you have a line of sight issue? If not, it sounds like a bad lnb.
