My son wanted to watch a movie that HBO is showing so I told him to just go to 1501 and find it and download it. He comes back and tells me it doesn't have that channel. Sure enough when you type it in it goes to 9000 something. I noticed there are NO on demand channels. I did a reset but it didn't help.

Is on demand possible with these receivers and what could be wrong? Its connected to my HR34 downstairs and says its connected to the internet. I have whole house which seems to work fine using the DECA with my wireless router. I checked the other H25 in my bedroom and it to does not get the on demand channels but the HR34 downstairs does.

Only DVRs have them, since they can store the download.

Like VOS said only HD-DVRs (HR2x) and Home Media Centers (HR34) can access the VOD channels. If he wants to watch VOD content you need to set it to download on your HR34 and then he should be able to watch it on his H25 when it has downloaded.
