After moving my H25-500 to the living room and placing it on an open air stand 6" above my av receiver, I noticed it freeze three times in 3 days. I checked the stb temp and found it to be 160 degrees! I called and have a replacement on the way. These models do not have a fan, correct? Anyone know if the 100 or 700 models perform with less heat?

I don't think one is any cooler than the other, I do know they run a little on the warm side on their own, maybe keep an eye on the new one if it will be above the AVR. It shouldn't get that hot anyway but it's worth watching.
