Hello, I have a H25 with an RF antenna added to it and its kinda on the fringe of reception, doers anyone know if I can add a 10-12' extension cable to it to get it up a bit higher and have it still work??

RF antenna looks like a stereo mini cable so thought I could add an extension cable to it

I guess I can try and see but thought I would ask first

Like you said, try it and see what happens. If the tip/ring connectors are the same, it should work.

With the HR20-100, it had an external RF antenna. I added 10 feet of coax, stripped off the jacket and left about 2 feet of the copper conductor exposed. I could change channels from 100 feet away.

OK...Update...

Used a 16 foot Stereo mini extension cable(male on 1 end female on the other) from radio shack and all works great!!
