I'm on my 3rd HR20 (received Nov. 2). It has worked flawlessly since that date...none of the other poster's problems. I'm in the the SoCA area and thus have the latest firmware.
I'm also using the Harmony 880 to control this bedroom system...again..flawless.
In the last week I began experiencing this weirdism: One of my activities (with the Harmony) is "audio only", i.e. the outboard amp powers on (a Pioneer 816) but the HR20 does NOT. If I use the complete "watch TV" activity, the amp remains on, the display comes on....and..so does the HR20..fine. Before you speculate that it is a programming problem with the HR20 I attempted to power off the HR20 with both the device mode of the Harmony AND the original HR remote..NADA !
Once I shut down all devices...the HR is non-responsive to a power on from either the Harmony or the original remote.....?? If I use the red button reset, the HR20 will power on, goes through its initialization and everything is fine again. However, as stated I cannot power off the HR 20 or power it on once everything is shut down...?????
