So, on a HR20 when the blue screen comes up after the RBR and 02468 is entered it will force a FW load of the most current available software.

Has anyone tried entering 13579 or other codes to see if anything else happens?

The bootup process is far too long and my time far too valuable for me to attempt such a task :D

Oh come on - where's your spirit of exploration? Of collaboration?

If we assume all 5 digit codes running from 00000 to 99999, then that's only 100,000 codes to try. At 10 minutes per reboot (YMMV), if you didn't take any breaks and got all your meals, bathroom breaks, sex, and other critical activities done in the 10 minute periods while it was rebooting, you'd be done in less than 20 years!

Who knows, we might still be waiting for a stable box. :sure:

I have tried different codes. I did the Select Play Select 3-0 Select and it turned
my HR20 into a Tivo. Oh wait...That was a dream. :D

It wouldn't surprise me if there is a code to come in, maybe even with a usb keyboard, and poke around in the filesystem and OS.

Probably not something that would last long as a post though.
