In most cases, you have to be connected to a 3D capible TV via HDMI, and the TV must be turned on before the DirecTV receiver is turned on for the 3D channels to show up in the guide. The DirecTV receiver only looks to see if it is connected to a 3D TV at startup. If the TV is not on, the receiver does not think it is a 3D TV, and it will block 3D channels from the guide. If the TV is 3D, then it is possible to tune to the 3D channels directly, even if they do not show up in the guide.

Thanks, I was aware of that since I've had two 3D TV's for a couple years now. All the other 3D channels were in the guide except for 105.

Yes, but even when the receiver is connected to a non-3D TV the 3D channels should still show up under "All Channels" in the Guide Options. Just grayed out.

However, 105 is still not showing on my HR34 connected to a non-3D TV. Don't know about the other receivers at the moment.

(Have a total of 5 HD-DVRs all connected to non-3D TVs)
