Have all 110 and 119 HD channels been moved to 99 and 103?

We have several customers who have trees blocking LOS to the 110 and 119 satellites. They could not receive the MPEG2 HD channels from 110 and 119 satellites. Has DirecTV started to broadcast to broadcast these channels on 99 and 103?

If those channels are available on 99 and 103 then we can redo the antenna setup and change it to "slimline 3",

Thanks in advance for your responses,

Yes, all the national HD channels have been moved.

There are still some locals though.

If I remember correctly, it has been said elsewhere that this won't work due to the differences in the way the SlimLine and SlimeLine 3 are "stacked" (aka, set up).

Unless you want to create a big mess, I'd advise you not to do this.

It won't cause any more problems a SL5 setup with out line of sight of 119 would already be having because of missing the guide data from 119 when tuned to a 103 sat. If these are already running setups changing from sl5 to sl3 really isn't going to have any effect other than automatically removing the channels in the 70s.

If they are installs that haven't been done yet they should wait for the SL3 to become available and use the proper dish.

A swmlnb or swm8 can work around the problem since it always uses 101 for the guide data.

DUH!! Good point. I was just thinking of Tom (and others) discussing why it was a bad idea to do it, and I never thought about how it wouldn't matter for the OP.
