Hi,

I have Directv and on the 11th they shut off my FOX. I still have all of the other NY and LA networks except FOX. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with Directv and she finally decided that they needed to install another dish so that I could get the 99 degree satellite since the only one I currently get is at 101 degrees. FYI, I'm in Juneau, Alaska zip 99801. Any Clarification or suggestions on this?

Thanks

Dave

Right. The Juneau HD channels are beamed from the new 99-deg satellite. You'll need to upgrade your HiDef equipment to the H20 Receiver or HR20 HD DVR, and your dish to the new 5-LNB Ka/Ku dish. Call DirecTV to arrange installation.

I just checked your ZIP. I'm afraid that the zip wont be eligible for the FOX network feed anymore due to the availability of the locals in your area.

Sorry about that.

No need to upgrade to HD equipment since there no local HD for that ZIP yet
