Have the software updates made a single line stable yet?

I have an HR20 sitting waiting to be installed in place of an SD TiVo, but that unit works off of one line as sort of a backup. I would like to install the HR20, but have heard it it not stable with only one line connected.

I want to use it to test and get used to if before it becomes a permanent fixture, but I don't want to diplex my OTA line to give it two lines. Plus I need a third HD tuner for Sundays.:)

Not true. For the first 2 weeks I had the HR20 I only had one line connected and to a Phase III dish to boot. Now I just got the dish upgrade and have dual tuners. Were no problems using just one line, none at all.
Thanks. I remember a previous poster asked the same thing and Earl said it was to be fixed in the future. I may set it up tonight.

OK, found the thread I was thinking about.

If there are issues, I didn't see any. About the only thing I could say was an issue was the Interactive stuff was quite slow with just one tuner. It's a lot faster with 2 tuners.

I had mine set up exactly the same way for the 1st week without a hitch.
