First, I'm a newbie I've had my HR20 for about a week. My question is when you set up a schedule to record all episodes of a show on a HD station will it record it if it's not being broadcasted in HD. Example my wife loves all the CSI's so if I set up a schedule and I choose my local HD station will it record only the shows that are broadcasted in HD? 2nd, will it only record the CSI's that are on that station or will it record all CSI's?

We have separate Season Links for the SD CSI repeats on Spike and for the HD CSI episodes on our local CBS MPEG4 HD channel. Each one is independent of the other in terms of how you set the Prioritizer, but both types of episodes show up together in the Playlist - you select "CSI: Crime Scene Investigations" in the Playlist and it expands to show you the episodes and you can see which channel it recorded from.

Series Links are channel specific... not format specific.

So if you setup CSI on your HD compatible station, it will record what is on that channel.

Regardless if it is in HD or SD
