HD LIL Vermont Question

Any other Vermonter's here?

Here is my question, Burlington, VT is scheduled for HD LIL's this month. I just upgraded to HD and when the install was done the installer told me I did not need my small dish tied in because I now have East and West coast SD Dns. When we get the HD LIL's will they be moved to a different satellite than 72.5 or will I need my small dish tied in to get them.

Also I live in Rutland, VT I assume the Burlington HD's will be my locals? Anyone have any inside info when these might be available? It sucks not having any networks in HD.

Thanks for the help.

Gotta Love Rutvegas... J/K

I am surprised, in Arlington/Bennington, They get Albany Local's in HD... They also get Burlington Distant Locals. I was told when Burlington goes live with HD, Arlington/Bennington would also get them in HD.

And to answer your question, you do not need your small dish. Your locals will be on D11.
bjamin your profile shows FL but you must be a Vermonter to know the nickname Rutvegas!! Hey at least it's not Danby!

Glad to hear I won't need the small dish. Guess I can get it off my railing and send it to the dump.
I went to high school in A-Town....

They gave you a Slimline dish right? 5lnb?
Yes 5 LNB Slimline dish.

Ya your good to go.
I read somewhere on here (forgot where), that the Burlington LIL Receive facility goes live on September 15th. So, hopefully, soon there after, we will have HD Locals (be nice to watch the Pats in HD...even without Brady now :()
