DirecTV installers (with the exception of those who work directly for a retailer) get receivers that do NOT come with any cables. They are supposed to be issued cables separately, including HDMI, and are supposed to use the best cable(s) that are appropriate for the TV they are connecting to. Having said that, sometimes the warehouse is out of stock, and if a tech runs out, there's nothing he can do until more come in.sonnylax said:Do the DirectTV installers provide a HDMI cable when installing a new HR22?
