Receiver: HR20-700
TV: Sharp LCD/HD Model LC-26DA5U
Using the HDMI connection, non HD channel reception is perfect. Changing from a non HD channel to a HD channel the screen is filled with vertical lines with the picture in a narrow strip on the left hand side of the screen. (No sound problems.) This can be corrected by switching the input from HMDI to either S video or Component inputs. Once the picture is established on one of these inputs you can switch back to the HDMI input and the picture will be perfect. This started after the OX10b update. Directv Tech support suggested a bad cable, if so it shouldn't correct by switching inputs, right?
