Do you have DSL or cable - which provider? What modem/model? What's the brand/model of your router? What IP is the router, and does it have DHCP server turned "on" ?
You say you manually set the IP/Subnet in the advanced network settings on the DVR - did you enter the IP of your router?
I think I finally got it... Logged into my router and disabled anonomous requests from the internet which I would assume this would allow the connection... It is working but VERYYYYYYYYYYY slow... I have Comcast Cable.... I have my PC up and my 2 laptops so maybe that is what is making things slow.dbmaven said:Please describe your full network.
