Sorry if this is covered I did a search and did not find anything.

Last night we wanted to record one show and watch another. A alert came on saying it needed to change channels however it had to change to the show we wanted to record. If gave a list of two items and we could not switch to the other.. ther was no info or channel and nothing was recording.
How do I switch to the other tuner so I can watch another show while the first records? This worked fine before?

Also we have had problems were the unit just locks up ..in one instance it recorded 9 hours of a show that was 1 hour long .. and there was no way to stop it...
The other is when watching a recorded show it would just freeze.

Any help or points to post would be appreciated.

Hit the reset button. This should fix your tuner issue. As far as freeze and lockups these as known issues with MPEG-4 recordings. Maybe they will be fix with the next update.

I had the same problem as the original poster 2 days in a row. I reset the box last night, so i'll see if the problem happens again.

Is this a known problem? What is happeneing is nothing is recording on the other tuner and I get a list of the show I want to record and another entry that says no information and no channel. There is no way to go to that.
Is there a way to avoid this happeneng
