Hi-

I currently subscribe to America's everything pak, so I pay a $7 on top for the "DIU HD reciever fee 1B" .

I am considering downgrading, but am confused that I will now need to pay two "Dish Network DVR service fees" of 5.98 each. I only have one VIP 622. Why two fees?

With AEP all DVR fees are waived. If you have AEP but not the HD add-on, Dish will instead charge $7, but that isn't a DVR fee, just a firm nudge to get you to subscribe to HD. More fees at http://www.dishuser.org.fees.php

Strange. I definitely only have one receiver (622) that I'm leasing. So my plan was to move to AT200 plus silver HD. Seems like $7 plus $5.98 should be the fee, but for some reason they're saying that it's 5.98 x 2.

no, there should be just one 5.98 fee if you have only the one receiver on the account.

Yes, also connected to the internet!

Guess I may just have to bite the bullet and call them. Ugh.
Did they send you a replacement 622 at some point?

They sent me a different one to try and see if it corrected a problem. I ended up sending it back because it didn't help but when I received my bill I noticed they were charging me for two 622's, (2 x $5.98 and 2 x $7.00). Apparently even though I sent the new one back two serial numbers stayed on my account resulting in the double fees.
