I orignally programmed my HR20 remote(RC24) to control my TV volume and then I got a AV receiver and I was trying to program it to control the AV receiver but somehow I have messed up and the HR20 remote will not control my volume on my TV anymore.

Can someone help. I have tried to reprogram the remote again for the TV using the 3 available codes but none of them work now.

What am I doing wrong? Please help I would like to use my HR20 remote again to control my TV volume.

Thanks :)

If you want Tv vol in all devices do the following:

1. Tv
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9-9-3
4. press SELECT

If you now just want the AUD vol in av1 or av2:

1. av1 or av2
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9-9-3
4. press VOL UP

I have tried the above and for some reason I can not control the TV volume with the HR20 remote anymore.

I even try and reprogram the remote with the TV codes and none of them work now. This does not make any sense for since when I first got the TV I was able to program the RC24(HR20) remote to control the volume.

It is frustrating.

You don't think it has something to do with the latest update do you?

I appreciate you trying to help. This seems to be a complex problem.
