On windy days, we get signal problems where the screen turns gray or we lose it altogether. Will the short and long braces that are available help an under eave mount or are those more for the roof/traditional eave mount? Thanks.

Any sort of bracing that keeps the dish from moving will help. How much depends on the quality of the installation.

The mount is firm but the dish shakes just a little bit, like it's too heavy. I've seen others in the neighborhood with braces but they all use the traditional mount, not the under eave mount.

This seems a bit contradicting.

If your mount is flexing and causing the dish to move in the wind, then some bracing may help.
If on the other hand it's the dish mount on the pole that is loose, then the bracing won't make any difference.

Undereave mounts (for Ka/Ku - Slimline dishes) are REQUIRED. If they weren't used, you definitey will have problems.

Normally, we secure them into the end of the rafters by drilling through the gutter. That gives you a much more secure mount.
