I have had good luck my first two weeks, but I have am having a new problem. When I record a show and play it back the unit goes right to the end of the show and asks if I want to delete or keep. Is the receiver a lemon or is a setting wrong?

It's a known bug. You'll have to open the door where the access card goes in and push the red button to do a reset. The recordings that won't playback now will be gone after the reset.

Was gone for a week and out of about 30 shows recorded while we were gone, only about 14 were playable. All others immediately went black with "Keep or Delete" prompt. This was after a *full* reset right before we left.

I have swapped locations for my HR10 and my HR20 until the HR20 can reliably record and playback.

Ouch! That hurts (the missed recordings.) I had to pull that same trigger and swapped my HR10's back in. I'm slowly gaining more confidence in my HR20s since release 0xFA, but I know I'm foolish to really think so as long as there are so many posts like this.

As for when will it be fixed? Given the intermittent aspect to these problems, and the potential for multiple sources, coupled with the holidays, I'm afraid it will be at least a little while longer before they are completely eliminated. Scary are the number of people who've had no problems until this current release.

I hope to learn something at CES for us.

Happy New Year,
Tom
