Well he wasn't very funny. Periodically humorous.

I think he was trying to do a Spalding Grey Monologue like in "Swimming to Cambodia". But Spalding Grey does a much better job.

well, that's because henry rollins is a walking sight gag(rock star by way of gym coach), but that's about it...he can't really act or even speak, much less carry his own show-i didn't watch it because the commercial for the show was dreadful!!!!

In the past I worked with 2 people who consider Rollins a "Rockstar-Philosopher". Which of course gave me much ammunition to make fun of these 2 people. I figured, ok let me see what this is all about.

He is probably more literate than the average rock star, but that isn't saying much
