Last night while watching Heros I fast forwarded through some commercials at 3X and when the show came back on I hit the Jump Back button. But it would not stop fast forwarding. Nothing on the remote or any of the buttons on the box would work. Finally I had to reset and when it booted back up it was OK again.
Is this a known glich? I have not seen it written about her before.

If yours is like mine, it just randomly hangs and no remote will unfreeze it. I am rebooting the machine because of a freeze-up every 3 days with very light usage. The smartest thing DirecTV did was to place a reset button on the front panel of this POS.
