Do both units have the ability to be controlled via IR? I'm thinking of replacing our 722+622 with a Hopper and Joey, but both units would be integrated into our 3rd party control systems. I did read that the Hopper has IR, but not sure about the Joey. Thanks. SJ

Yes both. Codes are the same as 722/622 address 1.

When you activate IR you don't turn off RF.

Thanks for the info. Might not do the deal as I just read that Joeys don't do PIP which we use on both of our displays.

How exactly do you use PIP? If you just swap from one tuner to another, you accomplish the same on Joey by simply picking a different tuner. And if you get 2 Hoppers, it's $6/month cheaper than what you have now, same price as 1 Hopper and 1 Joey (besides initial equipment cost).
