I'm planning a move to Hawaii. I'm also considering a Hopper/Joey combination for the home there. The CSR I talked to seemed to think that there might be a problem having a Hopper in Hawaii because the Hopper only received HD channels, and that many of the channels in the Hawaii/Alaska packages are only in SD.
Is this a problem? Do the SD signals, which presumably are still MPEG2 for compatibility with the older receivers, not work on the Hopper or Joeys?
Are there any other issues with using a Hopper in Alaska or Hawaii?
Bill
