Hopper EHD no icons

I just purchased an EHD today and I discovered that movies which I have archived to the EHD do not show icons as do movies on either of my Hoppers. I don't know if this normal or if there is a problem with my equipment.

Funny you should bring this topic up...

I'm wondering if the Hopper works the same as the 922 from which it owes its firmware origins.

On my 922 I had a lot of transfers from my 622/722 and most of those didn't show icons either.

BUT

I noticed that you get a completely different icon result if you look at your EHD from the Media Transfer menu vs the DVR "My Recordings" menu.

Is the Hopper the same in that regard?

I've mentioned this to Dish with the 922... but it seems like the suggestion fell into a black hole because I still see different results of EHD content thumbnails in the two different ways to view the content.

You are right. Transfer menu has Icons. "My Recordings" does not.

BTW, looking into H2k logs (while counting sizes for quota) I saw the ViP922 could connect to H2k as a client ! It has own ID different from H2k, J or HIC.

I transferred several Marilyn Monroe movies from my Hopper to my EHD a couple days ago.
Right after they finished, the icons were intact. The next day, they had been replaced by the generic TCM icon.

The icons issue has been on going. With the vip922 it took months to get them listed normally. I suppose it's a priority, they're fixing the more major issues first.
