HotPass Audio Question...

So I am a new D* subscriber and I was able to add HotPass for the duration of the season for free. My question is about the Team Audio. When I tune to the Network broadcast channel and choose one of the 13 audio feeds to listen to....you can hear the network broadcast faintly in the background under the driver feed. This makes it very hard to sometimes hear the feed clearly. Is there a way around this so you don't have the network audio and the team audio together?

Not on the network channel. If you go to the 4 individual driver channels you are able to listen to just the team radio.
So on the network channel if you switch to "Driver Audio", the network feed is always broadcast together with the driver feed?

Yep.. the balance has gotten better since the beginning of the season but thats what you get

Yes. At the beginning of the season they had just silence on the audio channels when there was no driver, spotter, crew chief conversation and it was horrible IMO. As a compromise they have put the network broadcast at a lower level when their is no crew conversation. Turn your audio level up a bit and the driver, spotter and/or crew chief will drown out the network broadcast.
Or at least when the driver audio comes on, the network feed should drop out completely. But it is a great product, don't get me wrong!

A number of us complained because the channels were just silent most of the time - especially if you listen to a driver who doesn't talk a whole lot. The drivers on the audio channels don't have in-car mics like the 4 assigned driver channels, therefore, there is no ambient sound from the car. The best result would be that every time the driver, spotter or crew chief spoke the network broadcast would go silent, but I don't believe that is technically possible at this point.
We all have questioned this on and off since Daytona. Unfortunately, today isn't a good audio day because of the track size. Listening to Smoke is a hit or miss depending on where he is on the track. But, the censoring has been ok so far. Strange race with the tire cautions. Doesn't seem right.

Wish ESPN/Nascar would do the split screen during the race and commercials :( and cut the amount of Hydroixcut commericals. I thought we left TNT weeks ago .........
