Okay here's what I have

2 Rooms with HD equipment 1H20 AND 1H21.
2 Rooms with SD equipment old D10's I think

Here's what I want to do

Replace the H20 with a HDDVR, Move the H20 to one of the D10 rooms and replace the other D10 with an HD reciever (standard)

In the end I would have 1 HD DVR and 3 standard HD recievers.

What's the best most cost efficent way to do this? Would Directv help me with any deals or anything? Sure I expect to pay I'm not looking a freebie by any means What;s realistic to ask for what's realistic to do here?

It's really hard to say what they'll give you, but some of it depends on what you have and how long you've had it.

Are you under an existing contract? If not, you're more likely to get some credits or discounts. Do you have Sunday ticket, premier, both of those are more likely to get you better discounts.

With your mix of recievers, I'm thinking you have a 5 LNB dish, but it's not an SWMline. You will need another cable run from a new multiswitch to the HR2X location unless you can get them to bring out a SWMline, not sure how likely that is.

So, if you are not under contract, and if you have a good location to add a multiswitch, and if the second cable run to the HR is simple, you should be able to get that done for something less than $300. Possibly as low as $100. Who knows, maybe better. Best way to find out is give them a call and see what they offer you.

Good luck.
