I have an install scheduled for tomorrow. Supposedly they requested that I get all HR24 receivers. How can I tell before the tech leaves?

On most receivers, behind the card access door is a label that has the model number and receiver ID on it.

Even easier .. press and hold the info button and read it from the screen.

Talk to the tech before he starts to work and ask him what he is going to install. If it is not a 24, ask him what it would take to get one .
