BYU Football is playing most of their games on MTN this year. I live in Ohio and was wondering how I can watch them. I called Dish and they said they do not carry the MTN. So I asked it I could get a sports package to watch it. They said yes, if I get the ESPN College game day or whatever they called it. Anyway, I looked at the description of games that the package would carry and the Mountain West was not listed. I know DirectTV carries MTN. Do I need to switch to DirectTV to watch the games? Is there another way? Also, since I live in Ohio could I still see the MTN channel on DirectTV or is that only for those on the west coast?

Check again w/ ESPN Gameplan. They DONT offer you channels or networks, just games. If gameplan makes the game available, then you'll be able to see it. I don't know if they already have a list of games they will be covering this year or not. Most defintly they will add more as the season goes along. I'm also pretty sure that BYU games are also seen on BYU-TV which is up in the 9000's somewhere, but those would be tape-delayed for the most part.

I don't know how close to an aggreement Dish is w/ MTN. You might hafta opt out for Direct. ANyone you know have Direct? maybe you could 'borrow' a recevr for a couple months.

After checking their schedule, doesnt look like BYU TV will be showing their games. And dont see any on gameplan either. You might be SOL.

Rumors are that it is available in the MTN states on D. not dish. Outside of the zone it is available by the $12 a month Sports pack. I have been out of town for 2 weeks and haven't checked to see if the channel is up and running yet.

MTN is exclusive you won't get any on GamePlan. You can catch a game or two on the FSN sometimes.

SLINGBOX or Directv is your only options.

I was wondering how SLINGBOX would help?
