I want to record all episodes of a show on all channels. How do I do this? It seems that the Guide will only record a single channel with a series link. I've tried searching by keyword and title. I've tried creating a series link and using autorecord. Whatever way I try, showings which aren't already scheduled to be recorded are being missed.
What am I doing wrong?? Is there a simple way to just do "100% record this show always, everywhere"??
I hate to say there was something better about cable but with TimeWarner, I could choose a specific channel for the recording, or any (all) channel(s).

P.S. I am using BOTH and KEEP ALL EPISODES in the recording options.

Is it a show that is on everyday at the same time? Like Seinfeld? Its on everyday at 11:00p.m. If so, you can set a manual record which will record a specific time slot as opposed to a specific television show.

Try TTITLE showname as a keyword search, of course showname is the actual name of the show you want...it should record across all channels you recieve.

No, it's on all over the place. I might as well just say it's Cops. It's on at least 3 different channels I get at seemingly random times. I'd rather not have to set up seperate series links.

Title search cops. It will show what channels cops is on. Click on a channel and select all episodes. you could also select each in guide and press record 3 times. It will show a triple record and will records all cops on that channel.

This isn't working, either. I just want to record all the results I get from such a search. I can't figure out how to make that happen. This is on an HR20-700 with v235, btw. Is this a known bug or something that's on a future release wishlist? :scratch: :icon_dumm :scratchin

Select menu.-search for shows-title Then just put show title in-scroll to right window and select show-(there will be a list of shows) choose one and hit select. A window will come up with: record once,Rec. series,episodes, and done..Select series. This will give the selections to choose..Then just hit record series. Hope this helps.

Do a Title search and choose to autorecord it.
Or you can do a series link for each channel if you prefer (and are under the 50 limit).
