So, I keep trying to record all the episodes of battlestar galactica on ch 244... I've tried everything. Double clicking the record button on the remote in the guide. Searching for the program there. Clicking on info. Nothing works. Sometimes it will show me that it is in "series record", but when I search all the episodes they are not all set to record.

Any suggestions? I did a reset last night trying to fix it, no luck. Is series record just messed up? I do have it working with some programs, just can't get this one to work...

Are all those different showings... different episodes?

Do you have the settings set to BOTH, First Run, or Repeat.
Do you have a limit set on your keep #

The HR20 will not re-record an episode, that is already on your hard drive (provided it can make a match based on guide data).

All different episodes, same channel. Set to BOTH. I have 5 to keep, but I have no recordings stored yet.

Hmmm... I may have recoded these episodes in the past and deleted them. Is there a way to "clear the history"?

Ok, so I checked, these episodes are in the History as "Cancelled". I can set them up to record individually, but there seam to be no way to get them to record again as a series.
I note when I try, it asks "Record as Set"? What baloney, as it's not set to record! And if I select this, it shows the multiple record icon in the guide on it, but it shows no intention to record any of the other shows in the series.
I think you have hit this bug on the head Earl.... I think it's totally confused because I cancelled the recording on these shows once, now it will never allow series record on these again!
Another bug. The prioritizer and history are are really badly settup. There is no way to understand this History thing.
