OK I played with DOD for a week and its pretty cool but now I am thinking of switching around this receiver with one in my Living room. problem is that it no longer has a network connection and I have noticed that on Resetting the receiver only loads to 90% then hangs up for a while then switches to rebuilding schedular. I figure the missing 10% comes in Via network for the DOD channels so now I am worried without the Network cable the receiver is going to start getting wierd and rebooting etc as the DOD channel guide expires.

So How does one remove the channels in the 1000 range without resetting and losing all my shows on the hard drive?

Any help would be appreciated.

You can't and it won't freak out. Don't even worry about it.

Thanks Jim. BTW the guide only going up to 90% during loading is that normal after you disconnect the network cabel?
Yes, that is normal. At 90% it has all of the data and is doing checksums. It jumps to 100% so fast that you normally can't see it. Then it will go to rebuilding the schedule list or something like that. All is right with the world
