another dumb question, what are the repercussions of running an ota signal that is coming out of a distribution amp into the swm-8?
currently, in order to feed 4 OTA tuners I am running through a channel master CM 3044 22dB distribution amp. will running one of the outputs from this into the swm overload it? I have some very weak local transmitters in the area.

You should not have a problem. I have done that before

How do you like the CM 3044 MacLeod ( I still think your moniker should be 'There can be only ONE!") I have a crappy RS amplifier, and I'm wondering if going with the CM would improve my signal.

I'm happy with it, and I do not have it located in an inside environment either. 2 channels I have are so weak that even rotating ant. only got me a 60% strength. the cm3044 brought that to 95 and I can watch it on 4 separate tuners at once.

there can be only 1, or 2, or......
