How many of you have features disabled on your account? (Block Viewing, IPPV)

I am curious, how many of you have opted to call in and turn on the Block Viewing Data (turns off data collection of what you watch) or block IPPV (turns off ordering PPVs from the remote) on your account?

Also on a side note, does anyone know if these effect Directv's view of how good of a customer you are?

I don't block anything.
I think the only thing blocked is Impulse PPV. I know it has been in the past, but now that everything is networked, even if not on the phone, it might be enabled again.

Cheers,
Tom
I block everything I can...
Got to have TOTAL CONTOL :sure:
I block nothing...but have limits on PPV $$$ only.

Ditto!

I use the parental control feature on each receiver though to limit PPV $$ spending to $0.00 and hide adult channels.
adult channels are removed from guide, but thats it..
I have the block viewing data collection on my account.
i have just ppv via remote blocked as in $0.00 limit
so the kids don't get any ideas
I blocked email newsletters, promotional calls, emails, mail etc.
My kids know if they watch a PPV they pay for it. Yes they are old enough to work.
I see no reason to block anything. Kids are grown and gone, and if DirecTV uses my viewing info to improve my service, or wants to send me emails pointing out programming I might like, I have no problems with that.
I voted for nothing blocked. It's really just me and my wife.

When my daughter was younger we did have a limit on PPV and ratings. We have the movie channels and we all know what the late night schedule can be like. She's 20 now and moving out.

I don't trust my mother aka tech support nightmare. So, on her two receivers, PPV is blocked at the DirecTV end.
The only thing I have blocked is the spending limit on PPV. Just for the oft chance I fall asleep and roll over on the remote and a button gets pushed/stuck. That and to keep my cat from ordering movies when I'm not looking.
Nothing blocked here either. No cats or dogs. :D
I have adult channels blocked and spending limit on ppv. however it didn't have any effect, when I had company come over and they thought they would try it. This was a couple of software releases ago.

Make sure you have the parental lock on. Those limits do not apply if the parental lock is not on!

(I usually just set a dummy password like 0000 as it is just to prevent accidental presses :p )
Nothing blocked here as well. I do put a limit on PPV to $0.00 though.
