I will be subscrbing to MLB:EI for the first time this year and was woundering how much can I expect it to run me per month? thanks.
As pointed out, calling is you best bet...and to really put the odds in your favor of a discount, say cancel and both voice prompts when you call.CarolinaGuy79 said:I will be subscrbing to MLB:EI for the first time this year and was woundering how much can I expect it to run me per month? thanks.
I would say wait until its offered. Then you know the price. Calling now and saying you want to cancel the package really just comes off as you wanting to to not have it any longer because you have no interest. Plus, they may not have details or any possible deals they could really offer at this time."CarolinaGuy79" said:Ok well even though EI is not on the website yet can I still call or do I have o wait till they offer it?
Some good advice was given here, however, how can you call to "cancel" if you've never had EI in the first place? Yes, I would call, in March, and ask for the subscription price, and then mention why you cannot "afford" that price.CarolinaGuy79 said:I will be subscrbing to MLB:EI for the first time this year and was woundering how much can I expect it to run me per month? thanks.
Just call them and tell them you can't afford it at that price and see if they can give you a discount. Depending on how many discounts you currently have and how long and good a subscriber you have been will probably determine if you get a discount. I called last season when I was up for renewal and got a $60 discount. But I had subscribed for a half season the year before. I just took the half season package in 2010 at the regular price since I had just started with DTV that summer.ronsanjim said:Some good advice was given here, however, how can you call to "cancel" if you've never had EI in the first place? I have a PS3 and was really thinking of getting that just didn't know if it was any good!Dcm210 said:MLB.tv is $117 a yr. maybe they'll give you a really good discount if you mention that.
Had it last season and watched games through AppleTV and iPad. It was OK, but I'll be going back to EI this year. It was a bit of a PITA to switch between games and inputs while watching. The interface (at least on AppleTV) wasn't very smooth or intuitive. PQ was fine, but many instances of waiting to buffer (especially at night), losing connection - and this with a 35/35 FIOS connection.CarolinaGuy79 said:I have a PS3 and was really thinking of getting that just didn't know if it was any good!
I dont want MLB:EI after having MLB.TV last year. Having the ability to watch the games from my phone or stream from my PS3 to the TV was fantastic. If MLB:EI had a mobile option I probably would choose it this year.Dcm210 said:MLB.tv is $117 a yr. maybe they'll give you a really good discount if you mention that.
