I called to cancel DTV in the middle of March (I was going to switch providers). They offered me two months of free HBO/Cinemax/Showtime/Starz/etc., so I decided to stay. Well, I just realized I still get most of the premium channels! I lost HBO Family and a few Starz channels, but all the others remain.

My access to HBO Go ended at exactly two months, and the free premiums are no longer listed on my online statement, so I know this isn't a case of me just misunderstanding the offer.

What should I do?

the authorizations are gone - once your system updates the channels will disappear. Once saw an account that got the previous RSN after a move for nearly 2 years before they changed packages and lost it due to the reauthorization caused by the programming change.

1: May 8 - June 7
2: June 8 - July 7
3: July 8 - Aug 7

on your bill it should list the three months FREE.

05/08 - 08/07 FREE Premium - 3 months Free

You have have until Aug 7th. I recommend cancelling on the 6th of August if you don't want to be charged. But even if you do get charged, it's prorated.

I cancelled on the day my bill was processed, so I had to pay full price for one month and then was completely refunded the following month. That wasn't a problem for me since it evened out, but some don't want that charge at all.
