How to control RCVR if SAT & AUX used?

911 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  CABill
On the UHF Pro remote for my TV2, I have the 622 programmed on the SAT mode and a 510 on the AUX mode. This works great for switching back and forth between the two boxes, but there is one problem...apparently RCVRs can only be programmed into the AUX mode. Since the AUX mode is taken up by the 510, I have to use my RCVRs remote to control power, volume etc... I just hate 2 remotes, any suggestions on a workaround?

If you REALLY hate having a 2nd remote, you can always push and hold Aux and program it for the A/V receiver and then program again to control the 510 via UHF. I see two remotes in this room for convenience. If it is the main room's TV1 being controlled instead of TV2 (and the 510 were in the same room), the Unversal gets you to a single remote. The Universal will be IR only which can't be converted to UHF Pro for the 622's TV2 or "old UHF" for a 510 in a different room.
