Situation: So I am watching a show for example and want to rewind back to see a part, say 5 min. ago. So I rewind back, all is well, hit play where I want and go from there....I watch my clip for a few seconds and now I am done. I want to go back to LIVE tv.......

Question: How do I do this? I used to just hit "EXIT" on the remote and it would go back to live TV, now when I hit exit, it does nothing at all. The light flashes on the unit itself I see, but no response. The only way to get back to live for me is to switch up one channel, then go back....

FYI, this has happened since my 'update' of the R-15 (100) I believe 0x1029 or something like that, ever since then, I cannot get back to live TV

I think you can hold down the 30-second skip button (which long ago was a skip-to-end button) until it skips to the end.

Yes, it is during LIVE tv, when I rewind back. I used to hit exit, but it doesn't work. I have not tried holding the skip 30 yet, I will try that too. I have not done a reset yet, but will try the holding of the skip 30 to see and try a reset if not.

I'm pretty sure a reset won't take care of it. I normally channel up, then down. Hitting the previous channel button twice will work too. The only bad thing is the ch up/ch dn clears the buffer and I think the previous channel twice does also. The 30 sec slip/skip to end should keep the buffer.
