I am currently just over a year into my two year contract under the Dish DVR Advantage promotion. I have a 622 and a 625 reciever. I now have an HD tv in the study where the 625 is but would like to have another 622 or 722. Both of these are leased and was wondering if you think Dish will trade out the 625 for another HD DVR or should I just buy one. I dont mind buying one but I dont need three recievers. Does the DVR Advantage lock you in to just one reciever or the two I recieved when I signed up? I was wanting to know the best way to go about this before Hockey season starts.

You should be able to do the Dishin up program once per year, of course you would have to reup your contract another 2 years. I think that 622's are $100 for everybody, 722's depend on your satus with dish. Just give them a call they can hook you up.

I called Sunday evening and have a 722 on the way and will ship the 625 back. It will cost 75.00 dollars which I had to pay when ordered and will have a two year commitment to Dish which I had one year left anyway. I will pay 2.00 dollars more a month for the lease but after the 900.00 HDTivo I bought about four years ago this lease thing is not that bad of a deal.

Dish dropped the ball this week. I Emailed Dish Thursday for an estimate or tracking number. Thursday night I received an Email saying I should receive it on or no later than Thursday the 28th. Friday afternoon I get another Email with a tracking number and it only shipped Friday the 29th a day after I was suppose to recieve it. Its a good thing I enquired about it or they may have never shipped it. Tuesday September 2nd is my new lucky estimated date to recieve it.
