I decided to try OTA channels.. so I added my zip code in the antenna setup.. then decided I didn't want them!... so I unhooked the antenna.. and went into setup and checked ALL those 11-1, 11-2 etc channels and DELETED them so they are gone. I didn't like OTA.... too many channels with just more of the same.

YET! If I search 'Nova"... instead of 8 hits like I usually get... now I get like 110 episodes (!) because of the rediculus number of OA PBS channels we get here in MPLS 2-1, 2-2, 17-1, 22-1 etc etc.. must be 15 or more.

They never were in the list before I setup my ZIPCODE in antenna setup. SO.. how can I get rid of them..

Other then "removing them" from your ATSC section (aka...turning them off as channels you get via ATSC)

No way to remove them..

Aka... if you turn them off there, you can't tune them either.

I had the same problem. I set up the OTA stations just to see if the crappy set of rabbit ears I had available would work in case of emergency. I get the HD channels over the Sattelite with the exception of PBS, so I ultimately deleted all of the OTA channels with that one exception. The OTA NBC channel, for example, does NOT show up in the guide any longer, but it DOES show up in searches even though it is unchecked and disabled in the OTA setup menu. Annoying.

I did load the 1115 code the other night, and have not checked to see if this is still an issue.

I did the same thing, crappy rabbit ears seemed to pick up only the local ABC channels. Anyway, I want to get rid of them out of the searches, what did you ultimately do?

just reset the ant settings.. that will remove them all.. or uncheck any you don't want
If this doesn't work, then a "reset Everything" from the setup menu clears everything on the board too [along with wiping the drive!!!]. This would be the last step though.

After a "reset everything" from the setup menu/reset/everything?
Where you needed to rerun the D* setup guide again and enter your Zip code?
