That's the screen you see when it's turned off. To get rid of it, turn it on. There's no way to avoid having to turn it on except not turning it off, which is not recommended -- it needs its off time.
Thanks. I understand now what is going on. The way I had it programed into my Universal remote it looked like it was a new screen when I turned it on.
