I had one of those older style dishes way back when (added the SAT C kit to it) and I believe there was a specific way the feeds from the dish need to be attached to the switch. But that may have been an older switch also. If you hook it up and are missing some SATs or transponders try slipping them around. I can't remember exactly what I did but I did some guessing until I got all signals up & running.

This was back in maybe 1999 I think. A few houses and 1 state ago. It did have something to do with adding the SAT C kit. IIRC the dish still had 4 feeds coming out of it but no switch. Didn't the original dual LNB dish (capable of the SAT C kit) have 3 feeds coming out of that? I'm thinking the SAT C kit added the 4th.

When I first installed the kit it was for a TS-160 HD receiver and I also installed an Aspen Eagle 4x8 multiswitch. I don't remember what wasn't working, either not seeing SATs or not seeing transponders. It did take a bit of round robin changes on the 4 feeds from the SAT (Dish was 40 ft away on the roof, I was working in the attic) before everything started working.

Personally I'd get a Phase III dish from eBay or somewhere and just avoid the problem all together.
