It shouldn't matter. I'm assuming you have at least a Triple LNB dish. Just plug the four outputs from the dish to the 4 inputs of the multi-switch.

If your switch is going to exposed to any type weather, then definetly leave the unused outputs capped. It's probably a good idea regardless. It won't hurt anything.

When you say 3 seperate LNB's, I would still imagine it's your standard Phase III dish or Triple LNB. It commonly goes by both.

It does appear to be an older multi switch. It does not have the MHz range you need to receive HD locals from D* over satellite. You can get the premium HD channels (HBO, ESPN/2, TNT, etc., but not the HD locals. You would need the new AT9 or new Slimeline 5-LNB to get MPEG4 and HD locals and the WB68 Multiswitch By Zinwell. I think Spaun makes a MPEG4 compatiable multiswitch as well.

I had one of those older style dishes way back when (added the SAT C kit to it) and I believe there was a specific way the feeds from the dish need to be attached to the switch. But that may have been an older switch also. If you hook it up and are missing some SATs or transponders try slipping them around. I can't remember exactly what I did but I did some guessing until I got all signals up & running.
Hmmmm....Interesting. I've only had to deal w/ maybe 2-3 multis swtiches over the years and I don't recall having to do anything special other than making sure I connected cable to the inputs of the switch and not the outputs.

Not questioning you by any means. Maybe it is brand specific. I never delt w/ the SAT C kit either, maybe that's the difference.
