Well technically yes, but until they switch everything over you can do it now, it's just that it will eventually not work. So the best thing is to run a separate cable.Strejcek said:

How to install HR20; multiplexer, OTA antenna?

I am getting an HR20, and I will install it myself, but have some questions. My setup in this section currently consists of a dual LNB, no OTA antenna, a Spaun SMS 3803 NFI multiplexer (2 in, 8 out), and 6 DirecTV receivers, 2 being TiVo units.
Would it be better for me to keep this old system isolated from the HR20 and HD dish? That seems like it would simplify things. Does the HD dish usually work in the same place an old dual LNB dish works? What multiplexer is recommended for HD?
