How to record all the Olympics programming available?

I was trying to set up my HR20-700 with 1TB drive to record all the Olympic coverage that I can get. I wanted to limit it to HD coverage. I only get my local NBC, CNBC, USA, and MSNBC.

I tried a few different things. I tried doing a keyword search for "Olympics"/Sports and came up with a lot of stuff. Then I did the same using "XXIX Summer Olympics", and got this year's Olympics, but there were shows on a lot of channels (many that I don't even get). So if I autorecord, won't that give me a lot of blank recordings? I really want just HD stuff, but still there are channels I don't get.

So then I try another way. I Search for the same but doing HD as the category instead of Sports. I then go into the first Olympics show on each channel. Then set up a series recording for first run only. It sets up the first showing on Friday/Sat. It shows that there are 40 or so other episodes. Nothing else is showing that it will record though?? What gives?

So.. my question.. What is the best way for me to record as much Olympic coverage as possible in HD in only the channels that I get?

Season pass for the XXIX Olympics on each channel.

I have it set for NBC and USA. and that gives me quite a bit of coverage.
and CNBC HD

I don't have a Tivo. I have an HR20. It doesn't have Season Pass. I did set it up to record all the new episodes, but it only shows that it is recording the first one. Is that normal? Will it automagically add the others?
I take that back.. I just checked my guide. It must have updated overnight. Now everthing is set up.. cool. Now where is the 750 channel? The Olympics are here...
