How To Recording Question...

Hey all, new to this forum.

How do I record one program and watch another?
The manual supplied is total garbage, there are no specifics on any topic

When I choose to record a program from the Guide it changes to that channel and starts recording, but I can't get back to the original channel I was watching.
Menu comes up and says Tuner Conflict, 2 channels are already in use. I get the choice to Stop Recording and that's it.

What am I missing? I should be able to watch one while recording another!

Welcome to the forums! :welcome_s

It sounds like your HR20 thinks there is only one satellite feed. Are there cables going into both satellite connectors? In the Menu, Help and Settings, Setup, Info & Test or Sat. & Ant., does it show signals on both tuners or that both tuners are enabled?

Yea, both are showing great strength and both are connected. Also did the RESET as well to no avail.

Dave_S, Thanks for the Welcome.

Tips & Tricks was the first thing I looked at before asking. I didn't see any help regarding this.

I was having a similar problem while watching a recorded program or a program being recorded.

Now I press the stop button (button above the large right arrow button) and then press the Exit button and no problems.
