I received a couple of PPV coupons via an email recently, so went online and cashed one in on a movie. Problem is, I've never done PPV/VOD or whatever before and I have no idea what to do next.

How do I view the movie that I "purchased?" Will it just show up on my DVR (ViP 722), or can I schedule it to record there or ???

I can't believe that I can't figure this out myself, but maybe it's just that I haven't figured out where to look!

If you ordered from a specific channel number, go to that channel and select to view it. If the time you selected to view has not started yet, it will take you to the dvr recording setup for it.

You can temporarily put your guide to "All Channels." then, type in 502 and use page down until you see a Rented icon that is shaped like an arrow. I believe 558 is the last channel.

Thanks. I was confused about the "VOD" vs. "MOVIE" channels. I'll see if I can find it.

Also note: the PPV coupons are for PPV only, they do not apply to VOD.

If you have an online account, I would think they'd be in there [ my ppv certificates]
from there it's pretty straight forward.

Mojo is right, after you pick your movie, go to all the ppv channels, scroll through, there will be an icon on the one you rented.

At least thats the way it worked for me [ earlier this year]

I agree with Rochrunner, it is not obvious and it is not clear what to do the 1st time. Also, be aware it's a different order line for SD & HD versions of most movies.

Well, maybe things changed since I redeemed my certificates, it didn't seem that difficult at the time, you just wrote down the ppv cert #, left hand side column, choose "redeem ppv cert." takes you to page where you enter payment option [ choose cert, enter #] proceed to ppv page, pick what you want [ you had to be aware of the date it was being offered, and format [HD or not] choose it, and then follow Mojo's post. It always showed up in the guide in less than 2 minutes.

If dish changed this, well, like I said it's been7 months or so since I did this.
