Hr-20 Dead?????

I came home this evening and turned on my tv and HR20-700 only to find the guide working but no picture on any channel. Then I made the mistake of unplugging my HR20 hoping that would fix things. Now the blue power button light only comes on for a moment after plugging it back in and it is very dim. It never gives me the welcome screen and it acts dead after that. I do hear the HD working normally though. Any thoughts? It is only about 2 months old.

I understand also that Directv has to replace this for me right? I have many hours of TV shows on here that I am dying to see will they put the HD in my new unit they send me or can I?

When I first set mine up, I saw this once. Disconnect everything except the RG6 cables. Unplug power and wait about a minute. When you plug the power in, wait for at least two minutes. If you don't see anything on your screen after that time, press the power button on the HR20 once.

I can't guarantee this will help but it worked for me ;)

I thought for sure it was dead but after unplugging all the A/V cables from the rear I plugged it back in only to find it is working just fine now. Talk about scary. Thought it was dead for sure.
