I went to Best Buy and picked up a new HR-22 per DTV's suggestion in order to make sure I got one. I won't get my dish installed until next week. If I hook this receiver up to my existing 3 lnb dish will I receive anything? The DTV tech said no but I find that hard to believe. Are their any HD channels on the 3 sats I'm already pointed at? Thanks for any info.

You will receive everything except the MPEG4 HD channels. Just set it to 3 LNB and when you get the new dish installed you will just have to rerun the SAT setup again.
