HR 24 jumps to channel recording

Hi Guys,

there is a problem with HR 24 that i cant seem to find a way to solve it, when i schedule a channel to record, lets say channel 200 and i go to channel 300 and leave it there, turn the receiver OFF then when i turn it back on its in channel 200, the reason this causes problem is sometimes u turn it on in the middle of the game (wanting to start from beginning) and you see the score ! anyway to make it NOT jump to the channel its recording?

Thanks,

Mark the game for recording also and see if that helps.
When firing up in such a situation, I tune to a local PBS channel while the handshake is going on. PBS has never spoiled a game for me, and I bet they won't, ever!
well the problem is I am watching channel 300, make it record channel 200, still on channel 300, turn off and leave , come back an hour later (recording has started) i turn tv on, its on channel 200 !!!
how can i make it NOT to switch to the channel its recording when i turn on the receiver ?

I believe the only way you are going to get around this is to leave your HR24 on and just turn off your TV. The only difference between leaving the HR24 on and turning it of is that the lights on the front panel turn off.
Are you recording anything else during the time that you have put the receiver into stand-by?

i just checked my recording and yes it was recording a TV show as well as the game, i guess thats the reason then?
Yup. If you put the receiver into stand-by and start recording a second show, the foreground and background tuners can get swapped around, which is what you saw.
